Watching onto the Falling Snow*

There is rarely anything nearly as pleasant as the first winter snow.
The firm white cover masking every darkness every stain,
when everything turns into a unitary innocent white.
For a few hours, you can forget what lies beneath,
for several hours, you can forget every other color,
you can forget every other notion besides that of the joyful game of falling snowflakes.
For a couple of hours, or maybe just one, forget the world that lies beneath,
forget the streets, the houses, cars, people,
forget all which hasn't given in to the white!
Let your hands be taken over by the water magic,
let your mind be taken over by the caressing cold!
As long as the snow is intact, as long as the innocence is not stained,
jump into the magical game of heaven and earth,
just give in and take part with the same joy the snow flakes bring from up high!
Just as long as the snow is still white...
